Obama unfold his cards while McCain unfolds
Barack Obama's views on online gambling are: "I recognize both the need to comply with federal and state laws and the desire of many Illinoisans to not have the federal government over-regulates their behavior. As opportunities to re-examine this issue arise, I will certainly keep your concerns in mind".
What's good about Obama's statement is that whenever comes the time to cast a vote on one of the many bills that might arise to the senate, and later on to be signed by the president, his voice might be counted in favor. Obama's sees the need to stop expanding laws that are costly enough to the society and maintain levelness.
As for McCain's views on online gambling: "The issue of college betting is not going anywhere. ... The sports betting thing, that was over years ago," he added. "I've faced reality. It's just like with immigration reform. Americans want a secure border."
McCain's point of views are unclear at the moment. A candidate who has strong success of winning the elections has some certain areas that he really has no clue, and therefore will not expand much of that area.
Mostly the coming elections won't be about online gambling, as it's to say the least far more than what the American citizens would like to hear about, but no doubt that online gambling players and organizations will keep on the fight after the elections and will try push more bills into discussions.
